By reverse-engineering an active shooter incident, starting with recovery and reunification, we’re able to rethink preventive solutions at every stage. Through this journey, we will highlight measures schools and districts can take to prevent and mitigate acts of violence on their campuses.
In addition to this exercise, the webinar will also feature insights from Chad Martin, superintendent of Jefferson Joint School District 251. Since a school shooting occurred in his district in May 2021, he has been on a mission to share the experience, including the steps his district took following the incident so that other schools can better prepare for an active shooter event.
