Go Beyond Lockdown Plans. Build Confidence, Consistency, & Control.
Why School Safety Fails Without a Unified, Layered Approach
Today's safety threats are more complex than ever, ranging from violence, digital harm, and self-harm to behavioral concerns. Still, too many schools are juggling binders, spreadsheets, and siloed tools— leaving dangerous gaps in safety planning, threat detection, and violence prevention.
Protect360 goes beyond point solutions to deliver a strategic bundle of safety and well-being technology and training—purposefully designed to work together for 360-degree protection. This layered approach unifies emergency management, visitor and volunteer management, behavioral threat assessment and prevention, hall pass tracking, and professional training. The result? A proactive, coordinated strategy that helps schools detect, prevent, and respond to safety threats with speed and confidence.
This eBook gives you a roadmap to replace fragmented tools with a unified, layered strategy that strengthens prevention, streamlines response, and protects every student.

When Systems Are Disconnected, Safety Breaks Down
In 2024, the U.S. saw 330 school shooting incidents, with 269 victims—the second-highest year on record. But that's only part of the story.
Students also face growing threats like bullying, digital harassment, mental health crises, and behavioral breakdowns. Fragmented tools can't keep up.
According to Navigate360's latest research:
- 41% of students say they're more concerned about their safety now than six months ago
- Nearly 50% of students have missed school due to safety concerns
- 2 in 3 teachers are more worried about their physical safety than before
School safety requires a proactive, collaborative approach that involves training, tools, and technology. Provided in partnership with 911Cellular, Navigate360's panic buttons and emergency management platform are designed specifically to help Alabama schools respond to and recover from events with speed, precision, and efficiency.

Be Proactive in Protecting Your School Community
Earlier this year, Alabama introduced legislation requiring schools to provide school employees training for and access to a mobile emergency rapid response system. The bill, HB234, requires employees to have a device that links directly to law enforcement to speed the response time in an emergency. If passed, the law becomes effective October 1, 2025, and stipulates compliance by October 1, 2030.
The law is modeled after Alyssa’s Law, already enacted in other states. Alyssa’s Law is named for 14-year-old Alyssa Alhadeff, a victim in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School massacre.
"Regardless of the emergency, the appropriate tools are right in the palm of your hand."
"We have everything in there [and] we're able to keep track of everything that's going on. All the students who've been referred, those that were open, those that are closed, the category levels — all of that. It is helpful having a system that maintains all of that for us."
"Navigate360's team training program is so thorough. My teammates and I feel prepared to take on this role and help students who are struggling. I definitely recommend the training to all school threat assessment teams."
